The Office of Institutional Equity has been recognized by WashU’s Military & Veterans Service Office for supporting military-connected programming. In November 2023, the Education and Engagement team co-hosted a Veterans Day celebration for the federally recognized Veterans Day holiday. The event invited WashU veterans to a lunch that included brief remarks and a networking opportunity.
