Marina leads the Academy’s partnerships with units and departments. As a thought and strategy partner, she supports teams on their journey to shifting culture and climate, understanding that each team has different needs. Her approach is to meet people where they are at and to co-design a path forward.
Prior to joining the Academy, Marina did her doctoral work at WashU and held various service and leadership positions around the university, including graduate student government and the Board of Trustees. She routinely supports non-partisan Election Protection and Get Out the Vote efforts in the STL region and currently serves on non-profit foundation boards and committees in her U.S. home state of Oregon.
